Ratchadamnoen condominium was completed in 1984, almost 40 years ago. The overall building and space is still the same as it was completed back then. Khun Gap and his family live around there and bought this room. When we first visited the room, it was a leftover lawyer office, covered with dull red carpet, full of built in cabinet around. We agreed to take down everything and started from scratch. The style of Khun Gap’s room was built upon his preference and his personality. The size of the room is approximately 60 sq.m. So we decided to make it into open plan, living area sits next to pantry and dining area which is connected to bedroom. The whole space is divided by the main open shelf at the center of the room to separate bedroom from the others. It’s still keeping the sense of open space but can feel privacy when entering bedroom. The vibes after renovation brings modernity yet it’s quite cozy. It brings contemporary tone to the 40 years old building and it’s just perfect for Khun Gap.
