“Coming home is one of the most beautiful things.”

-Andre Rieu-

A defining element of Huippu’s design approach is the use of a pink color palette, which also ties into the meaning of the name “Huippu.” This renovated residential project was created for the founder of Huippu Design Studio, reflecting both his personal identity, the studio’s signature style and incorporates details inspired by his experience across various projects. As a result, the design features a pink monochromatic scheme and arched forms that represent both his character and the studio’s aesthetic. Carefully curated tile patterns and wall textures add visual interest and depth, reinforcing the uniqueness and cohesiveness of the overall design. Plan Unlike the original layout, the renovated design introduces a defined entryway and replaces most of the doors with arched openings, creating a more open and spacious interior. Given the limited ceiling height of the existing space, a suspended ceiling is used selectively—only in the entrance, powder room, and kitchen—to maintain a sense of vertical openness in the main areas. Reflecting the founder’s organized nature, custom built-in cabinets and shelving have been thoughtfully integrated throughout the space to maximize functionality and storage.
